When I first moved to Myrtle Beach, my brother William and I made a point of tracking down Claude Dallas' parents who lived not too far from the ocean. We had both read the book about Claude's crimes and wanted to see for ourselves Caude senior, who had a good section of the book dedicated to him. Later Grandma Rhoda and Papa Bob made a somewhat out of the way side trip to the small town of Paradise Valley, NV to see where Claude lived.
