Easter Sunday! Joshua and Sarah showing that they do clean up well. We found out when two people take a photo at the same time, you are likely to get one child looking at one camera and the other looking at the other. Oh well, they still look great! Posted by Hello

We went fishing during our vacation last week and got a close up view of a crabber pulling up his traps. The pelicans are waiting around for a free meal. Posted by Hello

When we got home, a bird had taken up residence in Joshua's room. I guess it is time to replace the broken screen! Posted by Hello

Another shot of Spanky who must have fetched 40 or so logs from the lake. Posted by Hello

Here is Joshua and his friend Zach enjoying the scenery. Posted by Hello

Spanky enjoyed the lake the most I think! Posted by Hello

It is spring break for the kids this week, so Debbie and I both took vacation. Today we walked over to a lake that is about a mile from our house. We have lived here for over nine years and did not know the lake existed. Posted by Hello

When Sarah saw a picture of a young Joshua, she insisted that a young Sarah get equal time! Posted by Hello

Here is a great shot of a 15 month old Joshua shaking hands with a South Carolina legend, Strom Thurmond. This was taken during Strom's last Senate campaign in 1996. Posted by Hello

Everyone is always asking for the full family shot. For those of you who want it - here it is! Posted by Hello

Here are the Blue Stars in 1981 blasting the stands. I am somewhere on the right side of the field. Posted by Hello

For those of you who never saw me (or can hardly remember) in 1980, here is a shot of me and my friend Ed enjoying a Mountain Dew at a LaCrosse, WI bar. Dig the hair! Posted by Hello

These digs looked awfully plush (must have been an officer's tent). Posted by Hello

Preparing a meal over an open fire (too bad we all saw him remove the Bi-Low wrapper from around the chicken!). Posted by Hello

The Columns Civil War Battle Reenactment

The Columns: "The Skirmish At Gamble's Hotel depicts an encounter that occurred on March 5, 1865 when 500 federal soldiers, under the command of Colonel Reuben Williams of the 12th Indiana Infantry, marched into the Florence area to destroy the railroad depot. These federal troops were met by a group of Confederate soldiers who drove them away with the help of 400 reinforcements from the area home guard.
The Columns is another name for The Harwell House, a beautiful antebellum home that dates back over 100 years. The popular name refers to the 22 Greek style, Doric columns that surround the home on three sides."

I got to spend the day with Joshua's class visiting a Civil War reenactment at The Columns in Florence, SC. Here is a photo of Private Garfield giving the introductry talk. Joshua is on the left side in the middle of the shot. Posted by Hello
