Seven candles for a seven year old. 

Sarah loves Barbie, so you can imagine how excited she was to have a Barbie Princess birthday cake. 

What a great day Sarah had! We all enjoyed the movie, Racing Stripes (about a Zebra who wants to be a race horse - think Babe meets Rocky meets Sea Biscuit). Here is shot of Sarah with her friends (left to right) Alexandria, Emily Kate and cousin Cayley. 

Joshua's basketball team played a good game at 8AM this morning, but came up just a little bit short on the scoreboard.  

Happy Birthday Sarah!!

Today our little girl is seven years old! Sarah woke up early today and crawled into bed with mom and dad at about 5:45 AM. This was bout the time we left for the hospital seven years ago today. We have a big day ahead of us, a movie and small party. Happy birthday Sarah, we love you!

Big Weekend Ahead

It is hard to believe Sarah will be turning seven tomorrow. Everyone told me that our children would grow up fast, and it turned out to be true. We are taking Sarah and a few of her close friends to a movie tomorrow afternoon followed by cake and ice cream at our house. We will post pictures from the party tomorrow night. We will also try to take a few photos at Joshua’s basketball game tomorrow morning (8 AM – too early on a Saturday!).

I don't think Sarah will have any trouble finding a Valentine! 

Everyone out of state is always asking what Joshua and Sarah look like. Here is a picture from the first day of school last August. We are just learning how to do this blog thing, so be patient, there will be many more to come!
